Hey tough guys-
Tommy Caldwell and Alex Honnold climbed the infamous route “The Nose” on El Capitan in 1:58.07. That’s 3,000 vertical feet of climbing in under 2 hours. While we could only fit 40 vertical feet inside our building, you can still try to be as tough as the professionals. By some simple math, we figured out that if you climb 75 pitches of our 40 ft wall here at Peak Fitness you will have climbed 3,000 ft. Can you do it?
Here’s the challenge:
CLIMB THE NOSE IN A DAY:
Come in and climb 75 pitches of our 40 ft wall in one day. This means once you start your push, you can’t leave and go eat a fancy dinner and come back. You have to bring your snacks and try hard. If you can complete 75 pitches in one day, then your name will be entered to win a free Tier 2 month membership.
CLIMB THE NOSE IN A WEEK:
Okay so maybe you don’t have an entire day off like those jobless monkeys. However, you can still try to climb the nose in a week! If you complete 75 pitches of our 40 ft. wall in one week (Monday- Saturday), then your name will be entered to win a prize! We’ve got some sweet t-shirts, mugs, & hats!
WHEN: Monday June 25th – Saturday June 30th
See you on the wall!
