Youth Performance Training
Ages 8-13 are extremely important in the developmental years of youth. At this age the child’s body is craving movement and their body is primed to use this information to generate lasting patterns of movement that will serve them during their high school years, and for the rest of their life.
Our Youth Performance Training program prioritizes correct patterns of movement, coordination, and body control to focus on running mechanics, coordinated athletic movements, dynamic stability and relative strength. Furthermore, our youth program will help children develop the necessary athletic and purposeful skills to positively affect their future traditional and non-traditional athletic and life endeavors.
Classes are 45 minutes in length starting with a foam rolling session moving into our mobility focused dynamic warm up and finally onto the youth specific programming for each class.
These classes are run seasonally, contact Peak Fitness for our next offering.
Athletes Performance Training
This is our advanced athlete program where the focus is placed on the overall general athleticism required to be successful at the high school and collegiate level of athletics. As athletes naturally develop and increase in height, weight, strength and aggressiveness, the need for proper mobility, strength and mechanics also increase.
Our program focuses on these variables and blends the individualized focus of each athlete’s unique needs with our overall outline focused on increasing athleticism. This program is a community-based effort, which is designed to be focused on the success of each athlete. With this in mind our program is run as a complimentary piece to what athletes are currently doing through area high school physical education curriculums, individual and team sports and any current/past injury concerns.
This program will also help to prep athletes if they have goals of playing beyond the high school level. By teaching foundational concepts in strength training, power training, Speed, Agility, Quickness, Nutrition and how to manage a challenging athlete training schedule. This year round program allows athletes the chance to drop-in when they can, or to make a long-term commitment.
